Those of you who actually followed ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) bayview_sims will be happy to know I haven't given up. Entirely. But that journal won't be updating again because I lost Bayview about six months ago & I haven't got any new stuff saved from the time between my last post & it going foom. Sorry, no more Ka'lesh stories. But hopefully something just as fun.
I've got myself a cyberpunk hood you see, something based on Shadowrun - lightly, so that some of the SR races are here, and some of the stuff, but frankly, this is a little more of the Shadowrunners in their home time. You know, what happens to the big buff Sammie when he goes home for dinner. That sort of thing.
It's definitely not your usual pretty, girly, OMG your sims are so beautiful hood, so if you're looking for that, you're totally in the wrong place. But if you are interested to see how I managed to make trolls, orcs, elves, humans & bugs without any of the various bodyshape project meshes or any height hacks, then you're in for a treat. I think I did pretty well with them.
Back to Bayview. I do miss that, quite a bit, and I do love the style of writing I did there. I'm going to do the same sort of thing, where if a sim fascinates me or a storyline just jumps out at me, I'm going to write it up. You may not have coherence from day to day, or even from generation to generation, but hopefully you will have a fun read. Obviously, this journal will collect crickets like all my others. But I don't really care. The two people I promised I would write up about my cyberhood will be here, and aside from that, it's really for my benefit.
( Now that the angst-filled crap is over, I'll link back to the best of my stories, so you can decide for yourself if it's something you want to read. )
I'll make this pretty later.* Getting to this point has been like pulling teeth and I rather suspect that as a long-term user of this site I've had it easy. Right now I recommend you take a moment to find out if my style is what you like & go from there.
